Lady Bass began DJing over 8 years ago while working for an internet radio station called Woofur.com. She started out playing all different styles of music, during a weekly online show, but she always knew that her UK roots would one day come shinning through. Today you can find her behind the decks spinning up a storm, UK Hard House, Nu NRG, Hard Trance, House, Electro and Retro styles! She has played everywhere from Montreal to Calgary, as well as in parts of the US – sharing the decks with the world’s top DJs! Her influences are the many DJs in the Toronto and International underground, club and electronic music radio scene. She is also very influenced by the style of her DJ partner Toronto’s own KenFinch.ca/DJ Viper who taught Lady Bass a lot about DJing. Lady Bass, a member of the CHILLS DJs also hosts events in Toronto. She also has several rave company residencies, has held down various club night residencies and has headlined many events across North America. She has also hosted and DJed on several FM and internet radio shows including her current weekly show on Party934.com Saturday’s from 5-7pm. Lady Bass has played at a lot of amazing events over the years, but some of the events that highlighted 2008 were; playing at the final WEMF (and getting the opportunity to play at every WEMF since I started DJing!), playing at PRIDE, spinning at Darkrave, the birthday event that Mz.DeMeaner and Lady Bass hosted for their birthdays in January, playing back2back with so many amazing DJ partners like KenFinch.ca, DJ Opel and LeFreak, playing for Braincell, Terror Inc. & White Rabbit, and CHILLS, spinning at the last Goodfellaz event, playing for Bassteasers and CHC, spinning at Blak, Big Bop and Funhaus, spinning in Buffalo for Halloween, spinning in Ottawa, playing on Beatranch Radio and finally ending the year spinning for Nocturnal Commissions! Aside from DJing, Lady Bass holds down a career in the music industry working for KOCH/E1 Entertainment Canada as a New Media Marketing Manager.
Expect some Great Hard Dance & NRG
